Today is an exciting day for Jed! He got to wear his Iron Man costume to school and march in a parade. Then his class celebrated Halloween by having a party! Jed loves preschool and all the exciting things he learns each day!

Happy Birthday Mike!

We had a fun time celebrating Mike's 34th Birthday! Happy Birthday To You!!! We picked Mike up from work and headed on over to Outback Steakhouse for a nice meal. We were all stuffed after eating. Mike got a couple of cards that Jed just had to open for him. He also got a few DVDs-Princess Bride and National Treasure.

We had a great time at the Trunk or Treat that was hosted by our ward and Santee Ward. There were a lot of kids there and surprise...I ran out of candy! I really wanted to get rid of it so it didn't stay at my house forever. I have so much more to hand out on Halloween.

Anyway, Shannon and Grandma Downey came with the kids. It was nice to have them there. Heaven wouldn't let go of her Halloween Treat Bucket. She would scream every time we touched it. It was quite funny. She would drag it along side her from car to car. Jed decided that going straight down the rows of cars to get candy was too easy so he zigzagged across from car to car. I guess he wanted more of a workout. We're tired, but it was fun!

VICTORIA'S GARDEN

So I decided to go to the pumpkin patch with Jed and Heaven so we could go on the hay rides and pick our own pumpkins. It was a fun adventure, but a hot one. I felt like I needed to take a shower when I got home.

We went on the Hay Ride. Jed went on the Pony Ride and the Jumper (bouncy house). We picked a few pumpkins and were on our way. Heaven did NOT want to go in any direction we were going so that made it a little tough, but then I put her in the pumpkin wagon and my life was so much better. That hour adventure wasn't so bad. Happy Pumpkin Day!

Obama NOT a US Citizen??? Doesn't surprise me...

McCain was asked to give his birth certificate -he was born in Panama-and he gave it right away. Obama will NOT give his which means he is hiding something. How strange, and yet people are still believing in him. If you have nothing to hide, then it should be so easy to let people have access to your documents. So sad!
I am not happy with either politician, but I have to pick the lesser of two evils and that happens to be McCain. Sorry Obama voters.

YES ON PROPOSITION 8

I want to make sure everyone possible knows about proposition 8 and the effects it will have on children and the school system if it does not go through. I don't want Jed to be learning about same sex marriage in Kindergarten. That should be MY decision when I feel he is ready to learn about it.

Fall is Here...Finally

I am so excited to celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving once again this year. I love to look back at pictures, especially of Jed, during Halloween. He had the cutest costumes and was just so funny in them!

Let's take a look, shall we? Well, I don't have all of Jed's old Halloween costumes downloaded on the computer so we will just look at his pix from last year. Last year I couldn't decide between two costumes so he was both Spider-Man and a Spider! The picture of him in his Spider-Man costume was taken with his friend, Kate, who lived in the neighborhood. She looks so cute in her witch costume. We miss Kate and her family!!!

This year Jed will be Iron-Man. Boy is he excited! Pictures to come...Happy Fall Everyone!
