The 100th Day of School

Aunt Liz getting introduced to all the kids in the class

Jed and best bud Jackson taking 100 licks of a lollipop. Yum!

The 100th day of school was so much fun for Jed, especially because his Aunt Liz came and helped out in the classroom. Jed was so excited that Aunt Liz came to his class and the first thing he said when he saw her was, "You have hair!" So cute! (FYI: Jed had been praying for Aunt Liz to have hair grow back on her head and so when he saw her he was so excited that his prayers had been answered). He just had to leave with Aunt Liz when it was time for her to go. I checked him out of school early and he went home with Aunt Liz! What a fun day for Jed!

Jed and Rockband Wii

Jed playing Rockband WII at the Cornwells house...with the Ironman costume on!

Jed looking stylish wearing Aunt Liz's wig...Awesome!

We went to the Cornwells for dinner one Sunday afternoon and Jed played Rockband Wii. Uncle Jeff decided he needed to add something to Jed to help him feel more like a rockstar...and so...that is how the wig ended up on Jed's head.

Jed was honored with the STAR/Peacebuilder Award (STAR-Scholarship, Talent, Attitude, and/or Responsibility)for "Most Improved Phonemic Awareness Skills." He was not aware that he was going to receive the award. Mike and I stood in the back and it was so exciting for Jed to get the award. He kept giving Mike the 'thumbs up' as he sat in the front of the assembly.
