Last day of Preschool...Look out Kindergarten, Here I Come!

This is a card that was given to Jed by his preschool teachers.

I had a conference with Jed's teacher, Mrs. Bahde, and she was confident that Jed would do well in Kindergarten in the fall. Yipee! I was a little unsure if Jed would be able to handle kindergarten, but I feel much better knowing that Jed did well in preschool and he can sit and follow directions and not bother others around him. As you can see, his class was primarily boys.

She did mention, however, that Jed is still the shortest one in the class. (not surprising at all-you can tell in the picture). He is just going to be vertically challenged. That's okay. His BIG personality makes up for it!

Jed ended the spring season of soccer with his team "the Sharks." We had a great group of kids and coaches this round. Jed especially loved being on the same team with his friend, John. I am excited that Jed wants to play soccer again so he will be playing in the fall.

Yes, Disneyland Again!

Jed at the Petting Zoo

Jed and the goat...Same facial expressions! Priceless! Jed was having just as much fun as the goat..yipee!

Jed and Donald Duck

I decided to take Jed to Disneyland one more time before our passes had block out dates and before the busy time started. Okay, so we got there and the busy time has already started. It was hot, crowded, and the lines were LONG!!!

I think we only went on two rides and then went to the petting zoo which we never usually do. We did some shopping and then headed home. It was the shortest day ever that we have had at Disneyland. I figure we'll go back in the fall when it is much cooler and there aren't as many people!

The Cornwells come to Jed's Soccer Game

Jed was so excited to have Uncle Jep and Aunt Wiz and the cousins come and watch Jed in his soccer game. He was hilarious and kept trying to show off for them. Then he wanted to hang out with them during the game. He loved the attention!!!

Jackson and Jed

Our friends were moving and so we took their kids for the night. While getting ready for bed, Jed and Jackson decided to spike their hair in a cool and different way. I couldn't resist and had to take a picture of them. I don't think Jed was too happy about it:)

Newly Painted Interior

So I finally got my house painted. I had been wanting to do it for a while now and finally got the chance (and money) to paint almost every room in the house. I am so happy with the results. I have to admit I was a little nervous about some of my paint colors at first because I am used to more dark earth tones, but ended up loving them in the end. (Ie: Jed's bathroom, Laundry room).

Baysitting Frankie...

Kelli Aguiar Stubbs was visiting from Arizona for the week and I had a chance to babysit Frankie while Kelli went to lunch with some girlfriends.
We had a great time. Frankie did great. He loved the bean bag chair and as you can see from the pictures above, did not want Jed on it with him.
Frank loved playing outside, especially with the balls. He loved throwing them and running after them. Jed liked playing with Frank and was a great helper!
I love the picture with Jed putting his arm around Frankie and Frankie just looking at him wondering who he is and what he thinks he's doing.
